Addressing COVID-19 Concerns

The health and well-being of our facility and program users is a top priority to the Wentzville Parks and Recreation Department. We are closely monitoring information from the St. Charles County Public Health Department, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and the CDC regarding COVID-19. At this time, there are no documented cases reported in Wentzville (or in St. Charles County). However, it is imperative that patrons and staff showing any symptoms of illness stay home. Signs of illness include: shortness of breath, headaches or body aches, cough and/or fever. Please consult with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns for yourself or family members exhibiting systems. Rest assured, we will continue to seek guidance from the appropriate agencies and will communicate their recommendations as we work together in the days ahead.

Planning and Preparation

In light of several events around the country being canceled, we will continue to closely monitor the recommendations of the St. Charles County Public Health Department and the state of Missouri. At this time, County officials are not recommending canceling our events, however, if COVID-19 begins to spread throughout our community, recommendations to modify, postpone or cancel large events may occur. To check on the status of a particular program or event, please visit bit.ly/rainouthotline, call (636) 322-6020 or access the "Rainout Line" app (which is available for iOS and Android users).
