Missouri's tax structure provides corporations with one of the most favorable situations in the nation. Five percent of Missouri's tax revenue is derived from corporate income taxes. About 24% of the state's revenue comes from sales and gross receipts taxes. In most cases, a company located in Missouri will have a lower corporate tax bill than in other states.
