The Park Rangers of the Wentzville Police Department, Support Services Division, are responsible for over 100 Acres of Park Land. The Park Rangers also provide the Police Department with assistance acting in the capacity of Animal Control. The department currently is staffed with two full time members: Officer Don Voepel and Officer Mike Toney.
Throughout the summer, the city maintains family activities at Progress Park-a 10 Acre Park with an Outdoor swimming pool that has a 121 ft water slide, Baseball and Football field, and more.
The Rangers also patrol Rotary Park-a 72 Acre Park which host summer fairs and festivals such as; St. Louis Renaissance Faire and Civil War Re-enactment, St. Charles County Fair, and Summer Music Festival.
