Welcome to Wentzville’s Economic Development page. Located at the Crossroads of the Nation, Wentzville is home to GM's full-size van assembly plant, as well as many other great retailers and industries. The Economic Development Department’s mission is to enhance the economic vitality of Wentzville and maintain its outstanding quality of life. This is accomplished through the retention and expansion of existing businesses and the attraction of new businesses to the community. We also work actively to promote tourism and housing which adds to our tax base.
