Citizen Satisfaction Survey - 2010
Overview
As part of Wentzville's ongoing effort to involve citizens in our long-range planning, the city retained ETC Institute of Olathe, Kansas to administer a Citizen Satisfaction Survey that would gather input from residents about city services and issues.
The seven page survey was adminstered by mail to a random sample of 2500 households in the city. The goal was to obtain a total of at least 500 completed surveys. This goal was accomplished with a total of 532 surveys completed. The survey results have a 95% level of confidence with a precision of at least +/-4.2%.
An in-depth analysis of the responses was performed by ETC Institute and returned major findings on how citizens rate the quality of city services, top services that should receive the most emphasis from the city and overall feeling of safety and quality of life in Wentzville.
The survey also presents benchmarking data in graph form which illustrates how citizen opinions in Wentzville compare with those of people in the Missouri/Kansas region versus the national average. Additional graphs help Wentzville determine how it ranks on specific areas of citizen satisfaction or concerns. GIS mapping reveals how city services and quality of life are perceived throughout the city.
We invite residents to review the results of this survey by clicking the links on the right of this page. An overall summary presentation by ETC Institute is also included.
