Find a Park
The Wentzville Parks Team has worked tirelessly to meet the Oct. 8 soft-opening date for the new Wentzville athletic field complex at Peruque Valley Park, which is located at 1335 Point Prairie Rd. The complex features four completed ballfields, three practice fields under construction, concessions, trail systems and multiple stormwater management bioswale systems throughout the park. It has been a great team effort by our dedicated Wentzville Parks staff!
Some leagues will begin playing at Perque Valley Park this fall, however the park will not be in full service until next spring. A grand opening celebration is also planned for the spring.
Bicentennial Park was established as a memorial garden park in honor of our country’s events, i.e. Declaration of Independence in 1776 and the Civil War skirmish near this site. A series of Civil War engagements were fought near this site on July 15 & 17, 1861 between Union soldiers traveling by train and Missouri Bushwackers.

Northview Nature Park
Location: 200/202 W. Northview, Wentzville, MO 63385
The City completed a storm water project on this site to provide flood relief and create green space for the public. The storm water system on this site was “day lighted” and roughly 3,700 native prairie and wetland plants were installed to help prevent erosion, soak up and infiltrate storm water.
This pocket park will reduce water run-off, provide green infrastructure, attract more nature into the neighborhood, act as an interpretive demonstration area and classroom, help save money, support sustainability and provide more parkland for the community.
