Administration
The City of Wentzville has a Council-Administrator form of government. The Board of Aldermen is the governing body of the city elected by the public, and the administrator is hired by the Board to carry out the policies it establishes.
The City Administrator is responsible for preparing the budget, directing day-to-day operations, and personnel management.
The City is organized into departments, each managed by a professional, municipal Department Director who reports to the City Administrator.
Additionally, the City Attorney, City Clerk, Human Resource, Economic Development, and Finance Divisions report to the City Administration Office.
