Stormwater Committee
Overview
The Stormwater Advisory Committee helps develop and assess the City’s Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) for pollution prevention. The Committee also helps conduct bi-annual Stormwater Management Plan public forums to inform, engage, and get feedback from the general public and stakeholder groups about the effectiveness of the SWMP and storm water pollution concerns.
Structure
The committee consists of six members appointed to a five-year term. Five members are appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the Board of Aldermen, and one Alderman is selected by the Board. The committee meets at least semi-annually.
Meeting Schedule
The Stormwater Advisory Committee meets the third Thursday of each month, as needed, at 6:00 p.m. in City Hall, 310 W. Pearce Blvd. Meetings are open to the public.
